Our Services
Sorrento Art Studios is a community engagement program delivering creative workshops, collaborations, exhibitions, and events in and around the historic Gannawarra House on Sorrento’s main street, in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula.
Creative Workshops
The historic Gannawarra House provides an inspiring setting for relaxed drawing and painting workshops. Sessions are held across the garden, balcony, and main guest room, offering a variety of creative environments. Guided instruction and demonstrations support participants as they build confidence, skills, and a deeper enjoyment of the art-making process.
Collaborations
Sorrento Art Studios presents creative collaborations with local producers and venues, including Draw X Wine at Tallarida Vineyard in Boneo. These relaxed two-hour experiences combine observational drawing with wine tasting. Participants learn practical techniques inspired by their surroundings while enjoying house wines and shared local produce.
Exhibitions
The historic Gannawarra House offers a versatile exhibition space suited to a range of contemporary practices. The venue includes a large central room, two adjoining intimate rooms, and professional gallery lighting. Together, these spaces provide a refined yet welcoming setting for exhibitions, installations, and curated presentations.
Events
A program of creative events and talks will be offered throughout the year at Gannawarra House. These gatherings aim to foster community and connection through art. Visitors are invited to enjoy conversations, presentations, and shared experiences led by a diverse range of artists and creative practitioners.
